Dual function hand operated tool for cutting metal and punching holes in flat strip metal.

MASTER PUNCHING / SHEARING SPECIFICATIONS:

Punching (picture 1) is achieved by placing flat strip metal in the slotted punch block. Platform is adjustable to allow for accurate positioning of different widths of metal. PUNCHING function is used to punch holes for use with screws, nuts and bolts, or for welding. Also compliments the riveting feature on the rolling / bending / riveting tools as the holes are punched for the rivets. The punching is carried out by a replaceable punch block and pin which is specially machined and hardened for the task.

To shear (picture 2), material is placed in gap between bottom shear blade and lever-operated upper shear blade. Operate lever to shear.

All tools are supplied with operating instructions. Please note that the maximum working capacity stated is for Hot Rolled Material or Annealed metal. Working beyond these limits or with material of greater hardness may reduce the operational life of the tool.

The Master Punch/Shear Tool is shipped in 1 box: 17 lbs. (approx. weight).
