Please note: Kosy Creations Tools and Metalcraft Tools are two completely separate programs. Kosy Creations requires oxyacetylene welding.



PROCEDURES

• Picture 1 shows bending the LARGE end of the scroll. The large end of the scroll is bent after the small end.
• Picture 2 shows scrolls loaded into a locking ring. The locking ring holds the scrolls firmly in place for welding.

• Picture 3 shows that straight edge butt gas welding (oxyacetylene) is the welding process recommended. The large ends of the scrolls are welded after welding all small ends.
• Picture 4 shows Dishing Die set being used to obtain the desired curvature of the ring sections. Male die and ring section pressed into female die. __________________________________________________________________________
  
  Kosy Creations allows you to incorporate the use of smaller metal with light oxyacetylene welding (basically this form of welding melts the miniature metal scrolls together) - the simplicity of the scroll design lends itself to the construction of a wide variety of functional and saleable metal projects. This form of welding is easy to learn and does not require a large welding setup.
